The NYSE allows investors to buy and sell stoles of companies that are registered openly for trading within the public. The NYSE trading hours is always from 9:30 to 4:00 ET.

From Jan 24, 2007 all the stocks of NYSE can be traded through electronic Market with the use of internet except some stocks which are costly. Customers send their orders which are executed immediately for trade in market. The stock quote of NYSE can be got in a real time basis from many sites in internet. The stock quotes give us detailed prices of the stock at any particular times which are said in percentage points. One dollar in stock is equal to a full point in the US and the price of stocks is also quoted in increments of a point which is equal to one-eighth of a point.
